John has recently joined OMM as Business Development Manager and is based at our Marbella head office.He moved to Spain 2 years ago with his wife and son aged 12.

His career to date has included senior Private Client management positions in Offshore divisions of HSBC and Bank of Scotland International where he was responsible for the investment advice and financial planning to high net worth individuals in Europe USA & Canada. John was based in Jersey for 14 years and Isle of man for two prior to moving to Spain.

His Offshore Private Banking and Investment experience will be an asset to OMM Clients. John is fully FPC qualified. His hobbies include football, but mainly as a supporter of his son who is a promising young star in the making who currently plays for AFA Marbella.

Mike was born and educated in England and has spent all his working life in the Financial Industry. He worked for 2 major insurance companies for the first 20 years as Consultant & Management, both in UK and Overseas, before forming an Independent Financial Advisory Partnership in Sussex, UK. The Partnership specialized in Investment, Pension & Tax Planning. Mike is married and has four children.

In its 14 years’ the Partnership became part of a National Network, when Mike gained his Chartered Insurance Institute; Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC), and Pension Certificate (G60) the highest qualifications attainable at that time. He remained a Consultant for 5 years with the Company, following its successful sale in 1998.

Since his move to Almeria, Spain at the end of 2003, he has been an Advisor with OMM where he continues his professional development, focusing on Investment & Tax Planning. He and his family now enjoy a new & exciting lifestyle in Almeria, as shared by many other Ex Patriots in the region.

After an early career as an aircrew officer in the Royal Air Force, and loan service with the Fleet Air Arm, Mike joined a merchant bank – Henry Ansbacher & Co – and it’s associated trust company, in Guernsey, in the late 1970s. Promotion followed quite rapidly and he was appointed to set up, and act as managing director of a parallel operation for the bank in Gibraltar in 1984, where he remained until 1996.

He then moved to his home in Mallorca on a permanent basis, and has been associated with OMM, and it’s predecessor company, ever since. Married, with two grown up daughters and two grandchildren, he enjoys a game of golf occasionally.

Mike is, or has been, a member of The Royal Institute of Navigation, The International Tax Planning Association, The Institute of Directors, The Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, The National Council of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme, Gibraltar, The Founder Chairman of the Association of Trust & Company Managers, Gibraltar, and The Guernsey Chamber of Commerce, Young Businessmans' Group.

Stuart joined the OMM team in January 2008 as an additional appointed representative based in Mallorca and covering the Baleares where demand for OMM’s services has been increasing significantly.

Most of Stuart’s career has been spent in financial services with an initial 8 year spell with Midland Bank and a further 18 years with major insurance companies in the U.K. where he gained his F.S.A. qualifications.

A business opportunity to move to Spain with his wife and young son a few years ago presented Stuart with a new challenge and having settled in to family life here he is delighted to find himself returning to the island of Mallorca where his parents and family have established many friends over the years.

Having enjoyed a successful sports career at a high level in his younger days he is now focusing his energies from the sidelines supporting his son’s sporting activities as well as those of his beloved Manchester United.

After a successful banking and financial planning career in the UK with Natwest Bank, Stuart was seconded to work with Banco Santander in Spain in 2001 and found himself based in the North Alicante area where he settled into Spanish life very easily.

Joining OMM in 2005 as one of our adviser representatives he has been able to benefit from the banking/professional connections he established in his early years in and around the Denia area.

Now the proud father of a little baby girl Stuart doesn’t find as much time as he did enjoying this hobbies of tennis, golf and scuba diving. However, he is still an active member of his local Fila de Moros y Cristianos and enjoys the famous marches through the streets of Denia in full battle dress.

A talented golfer from a young age David’s early career utilised this skill as a professional coach in his native Scotland. However, the lure of financial services took him to Lloyds TSB, where he was an account manager, and then on to Scottish Equitable PLC at their head office in Edinburgh.

Following in the footsteps of his friend and colleague Robert Seaton who had joined OMM in Spain some 2 years earlier David made the same move in 2003 and became assistant to the company Chairman.

Since then David has developed as an AE (Auxiliar Externo) or financial adviser as referred to in the UK and clearly found his niche working from our Marbella office.

A member of Los Arqueros Golf and Country Club he still finds time to teach golf to colleagues and clients alike.

A graduate of Manchester University where he studied Credit Management and Commercial Law Mike is a product of the OMM graduate trainee programme instigated in 2006.

Having moved to Spain with his wife and baby daughter in 2003 Mike and his family have settled well with his only regret being so far from Anfield and his beloved Liverpool Football Club.

In addition to his skills in marketing OMM products and services to our client base his computer programming ability and experience have assisted greatly in the design of many of our client reports and Annual Review systems. Mike is based at our Marbella office and focuses on servicing new and existing clients in the Costa del Sol area.

Bent has worked in the financial expat market in Spain since leaving university (MSc. (Econ.) from University of Aarhus, Denmark) 11 years ago. His work experience includes advice on investments, tax and wealth management. He has been with OMM since April 2003 and in his current position he is responsible for developing business and advising clients on tax efficient investment solutions. Bent is fluent in Danish, English, Spanish, Norwegian and Swedish.
