Initial Training
Working in a different country and with, possibly, a different type of client, means that a certain amount of training will be required. OMM has its own training manual which covers everything the new AE needs to know to be able to work effectively here in Spain.
In addition, successful recruits will be required to undertake a fulltime training course at the Marbella HO and a written examination of their newly acquired technical knowledge must be completed. This is a requirement of our DGS licence as is comprehensive ongoing training which takes place on a quarterly basis.

Subjects covered in the initial training course include:

  • The Spanish Tax System
    Income, Wealth, Inheritance and Capital Gains Taxes
  • Equity Release in Spain
  • The Tax Advantages of Spanish Life Investment Bonds
  • Investing for Safety
  • Investing for Income
  • Understanding the Spanish Market
  • How to use of Salesforce.com for admin. & marketing

in sales Ongoing Training
As mentioned above, ongoing professional training is a requirement of our DGS licence. This applies to our administrative staff as well as to our Appointed Representatives (Auxiliares Externos). OMM runs dedicated Training Days on a quarterly basis and this is supplemented by the quarterly InSales digital newsletter especially prepared for our AE network.
